Retaking control

You've come to the end of your tether, swamped by red letters and final notices. So phone StepChange - one of the best half hours of your life. They sort out what you spend on what, what you owe, what you can afford to pay back after allowances are made for the amount you need to live on. Then they sort out the repayments (through them) and companies listen to them whereas they wouldn't listen to you, because they have standing. And the best bit (apart from the relief of finally doing something positive about things) is that they're a charity and won't charge you a penny. Reviewed on: 23rd April 2017

Step Change is the best thing I did

Until I contacted Step Change I was forever missing payments and my credit score was sinking like a stone but thanks to Step Change it has helped to rebuild my credit score and maintain my regular payments to the point of two months I will be debt free. Great Service

My credit card debt was became unaffordable when my circumstances changed due to poor health. Step Change were excellent and helpful and also very friendly. A few simple details about what I owed to who and what my income and outgoings were and they took it from there, speaking to my creditors themselves. It has relieved me of stress.
