My experience with StepChange was very positive. They explained everything clearly and made the whole process easy to understand, with no pressure at all. Best FREE debt management company

I was on a different dpm with another company and I wouldn’t be nearly out of debt if it wasn’t for stepchange, helped with all my creditors and on the right track. The service is free so I wasn’t carrying on paying interest too the other company. Just wish I knew about stepchange awhile ago Reviewed on: 6th May 2026

We were in debt and didn't know what to do,sleepless nights and a lot of worring, so after a long time we couldn't take anymore I went online to stepchange and they sorted everything out and took a lot of our shoulders,I would definitely recommend them and get your life back. The best thing to do if you feel buried in debt and cannot see a way out is to get real help - Stepchange provided the forms to help me budget and fully assess my finances and came up with a plan to pay everything off within 4 years, contact all creditors on my behalf and get a plan agreed by all of them. With annual reviews and statements, I'm always up to date and managing everything again. One and a half years into the plan, £16k of debt is down to £9.2k and looking forward to being debt free, an outcome I never thought possible. The staff are friendly, honest and realistic in all their dealings and I can't recommend them highly enough. When I contacted Stepchange and set up a plan my whole perspective changed for the better - it literally changed my life. Reviewed on: 6th May 2026
