Retaking control

You've come to the end of your tether, swamped by red letters and final notices. So phone StepChange - one of the best half hours of your life. They sort out what you spend on what, what you owe, what you can afford to pay back after allowances are made for the amount you need to live on. Then they sort out the repayments (through them) and companies listen to them whereas they wouldn't listen to you, because they have standing. And the best bit (apart from the relief of finally doing something positive about things) is that they're a charity and won't charge you a penny. Reviewed on: 23rd April 2017

Calling Step Change changed my life.

Calling Step Change changed my life. I was crumbling under mounting debt, out of options and full of shame. I waited almost a year to call them out of fear and embarrassment, but wish I'd done it sooner. The team of advisors are kind, reassuring and completely non-judgemental. Worry gone!
