Feeling back in control of my finances

After going through a divorce I was left with debt. With 2 small children and a part tine wage it was really tight. I had to live on credit cards to live for a bit and that coupled with the marriage debt it was tough. My mum who watches Martin Lewis like a borderline stalker recommended Stepchange. I was ashamed to need debt help but Stepchange staff do not judge, they made me feel that I could pay this off over time at a monthly amount I could afford. The relief after the first phone call was immense. I now have a realistic monthly amount to pay and no letters or demands coming through. My life is alot better for doing it. I feel back in control. Without the support I have had from step change debt...

Without the support I have had from step change debt management service I don’t know how I would of coped over the last few years. There staff are so understanding and extremely supportive to me. Great company for me!! So helpful and done with no judgment! Makes you feel at ease as soon as you speak to them!!
