At a cross roads

I had reached a point where i didnt know what to do and the letters kept coming. I did not have a plan in regards to how i was going to service my debt and thought if i buried my head in the sand, then everything would go away. Which it didn't.... I found Ste Change on a comparison website and completed the initial information. I was able to speak to real person who made me feel that i was doing the right thing by accessing support before it became too out of hand. I did the budget and had my DMP agreed and have been paying ALL my debts since. It is going to take me a long time to clear all my debt but i don't feel like it is out of control and I now open my letters when i receive them as i am not traumatised by what they could potentially say. Dont get low make a Step to Change your debts!

I was very low with my debts and was recommended by a friend. Working through the online forms with Step Change was simple and straight forward and gave me a good insight to my issues. Contact was easy and the responses have always been quick and very helpful. I would recommend stepchange in a heart beat and the weight was lifted and haven't felt as low as I was in ages. I had no idea what StepChange were, until I reached out to them. A life which didn't have failures and poverty seemed a thousand years ago. When I understood that there were systems as well as people who could me help rein in the debts and give a vision of a future where I am not chasing a depressing permanence, I saw options, possibilities, and stopped waiting for things to happen.
