Retaking control

You've come to the end of your tether, swamped by red letters and final notices. So phone StepChange - one of the best half hours of your life. They sort out what you spend on what, what you owe, what you can afford to pay back after allowances are made for the amount you need to live on. Then they sort out the repayments (through them) and companies listen to them whereas they wouldn't listen to you, because they have standing. And the best bit (apart from the relief of finally doing something positive about things) is that they're a charity and won't charge you a penny. Reviewed on: 23rd April 2017

I was in despair as was in a bad place and on sick with no where to turn i tool my head out the sand and looked at my options when I phoned they didn't make me feel alienated and treated me with compaction like a person again we made a plan and I felt I wasn,t drowning in debt. My financial situation following divorce left me in a right state with very little spare money meaning I was in a debt spiral. Contacting stepchange have me my life back and I'm now in much better place. My debt is clear this November and I'm So pleased to have achieved being totally debt free.
