It was absolutely fantastic help from start to finish.

It was absolutely fantastic help from start to finish. It took 8 days in total. I'm sitting here now a lot happier than I was 3 weeks ago. They put me forward (against their recommendation) for a DRO, which was passed 2 weeks ago, and because I have their backing, I have been able to liaise with my creditors a lot easier, and they have actually helped me due to my underlying health issues. Thank you to them all from Stepchange and also Money Wellness (the people who organised my finances and submitted my DRO application) From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU. After marriage break up I was left with so many debt...

After marriage break up I was left with so many debts and no idea how to tackle it. I was at the end of my tether and it was massively affecting my mental & physical health. After contacting step change they massively helped with sorting out and asking my debts . Without constant threats from collecting agencies . They were an absolute God send. Easy and pleasant to discuss your problems with.

Step Change have been very helpful right from the beginning of my relationship with them. I have an illness that causes me great anxiety and after going to them it has somewhat helped with that. They are all very easy to talk to and will spend as much time with me as I feel I need even though they are extremely busy much of the time. Reviewed on: 23rd May 2025

Such a brilliant charity

The thing that's good about Stepchange is they understand why people need help with debt and they are non-judgemental. You do a budget- which they will help you with if you need it and it is Stepchange who will work our what you can realistically afford to pay - and they then negotiate with your creditors on your behalf. What I like about Stepchange is that they are always there for you - even at your lowest point - they are on your side and will do their very best to work with you to get you over what can be a very difficult period in your life.
