I was in over 20k of debt

I was in over 20k of debt, Paying nearly 600 out of salary on debts. This left me with little to spend on other cost and any luxuries. Initially i got help via another company on social media. They were going to do similar, but their plan took a fee too. I contacted step change. It was easy online. A plan was sorted and monthly payments that were manageable. Leaving more cash for other cost and other luxuries etc. They have always been helpful, even when creditors send letters. They advised well. Also they sorted any new debts too. Im now paying of debts, not as quick, but interest is frozen, i have enough cash left over to live and not worry. Reviewed on: 1st May 2024
