Retaking control

You've come to the end of your tether, swamped by red letters and final notices. So phone StepChange - one of the best half hours of your life. They sort out what you spend on what, what you owe, what you can afford to pay back after allowances are made for the amount you need to live on. Then they sort out the repayments (through them) and companies listen to them whereas they wouldn't listen to you, because they have standing. And the best bit (apart from the relief of finally doing something positive about things) is that they're a charity and won't charge you a penny. Reviewed on: 23rd April 2017

I’m so happy with my experience. Now I sleep at night.

I was deep in debt with nobody to turn to, A family member told me about stepchange and it’s completely helped me so much it’s a massive weight of my shoulders. I can sleep so much better knowing that I have to pay an amount each month which leaves me with a bit more money than I had when I had all the debt issues. The moment I contacted them I felt like a weight was lifted off my shoulders. The person I spoke to put me at ease and helped me see the light at the end of the tunnel. If you have money worries give them a call. They understand you don’t need to be ashamed about your situation. They will help you put a plan in place that’s affordable for you. Life Changing

Five years, I didn't think I would be writing this. I was swimming in financial treacle, didn't know what to do. Contact Step Change and from first moment I was treated with compassion and in non judgemental manner.. Step Change changed my life back literally . Where now I have massively different outlook.
