Retaking control

You've come to the end of your tether, swamped by red letters and final notices. So phone StepChange - one of the best half hours of your life. They sort out what you spend on what, what you owe, what you can afford to pay back after allowances are made for the amount you need to live on. Then they sort out the repayments (through them) and companies listen to them whereas they wouldn't listen to you, because they have standing. And the best bit (apart from the relief of finally doing something positive about things) is that they're a charity and won't charge you a penny. Reviewed on: 23rd April 2017

I honestly don’t know what I would have done without Step Change . I was left heavily in debt by an ex partner and thought I would lose everything. I have been fully supported

I have been fully supported with all questions answered within in a couple of days - having my debts all sorted in one place and Stepchange speaking to and advocating on my behalf to my creditors as brought so much peace and ease.
