No more sleepless nights.

Many years ago I lost my job because of 9/11 I ended up in terrible debt, worry couldn't sleep , then I contacted the Step Change people for help and advice, they put my mind at ease straight away, advised me what to do, sorted out a payment plan that I could afford at the time, long story short ,the staff was brilliant, none judgemental and helped me out enormously. I’m so happy with my experience. Now I sleep at night.

I was deep in debt with nobody to turn to, A family member told me about stepchange and it’s completely helped me so much it’s a massive weight of my shoulders. I can sleep so much better knowing that I have to pay an amount each month which leaves me with a bit more money than I had when I had all the debt issues. The moment I contacted them I felt like a weight was lifted off my shoulders. The person I spoke to put me at ease and helped me see the light at the end of the tunnel. If you have money worries give them a call. They understand you don’t need to be ashamed about your situation. They will help you put a plan in place that’s affordable for you. Talk to your creditors and it also shows your creditors that you want to settle what you owe. Reviewed on: 27th May 2026
