Good product, but very targeted towards cash LISA users

The interest rate on cash ISAs is usually above competitor rates which is always a plus, and there was an extra financial incentive to sign up when I first did so via a referral. The app is smooth and easy to use. Overall, I personally find the product too geared towards first home purchases by using the cash LISAs, and as a general cash ISA user, I am certainly not the target demographic for Tembo, as there are very few articles that focus on things outside house purchases. It is evidently positioned as a competitor to Moneybox first and an ISA provider second. I also find it not providing enough information on how a S&S LISA could instead help with house purchases, especially with the current government push to move towards investment products. I would like it if the app started including more investment education and started acknowledging it's cash ISA users more via a more diversified range of articles, budgeting solutions, forecasts etc. Reviewed on: 3rd February 2026
