You can open a Tembo cash lifetime ISA or a stocks and shares lifetime ISA by downloading the app and depositing a minimum of £1.

Tembo doesn’t charge monthly subscription fees for the lifetime ISAs, but there is an annual platform fee for the stocks and shares lifetime ISA.

Fab app, secure and easy to set up

I don’t know a huge amount about ISAs and everything, thankfully my partner suggested we use Tembo to save for our house deposit. The app is super easy to use, easy to set up, secure, and also attractive. I haven’t had to use the customer services so I can’t attest to this, but everything else has been great in my experience. Intuitive Platform

Clear platform to use with additional learning opportunities. Updates as and when interest payments/gov bonus lands which is a nice feature. Tell a friend offers a current offer of 1% cashback if getting a mortgage via them. Easy to partner up and show your buying partners savings alongside your own and then providing info on how long it will take to save for a certain level of mortgage at your current savings rate. Made saving easy and straightforward

Made saving in a lifetime isa very easy and clear to be able to see how much I have saved. They send emails to remind me to add money into it so that I can get the most with the government bonus and not miss out of being able to save as much as possible. Reviewed on: 4th February 2026
