You can open a Tembo cash lifetime ISA or a stocks and shares lifetime ISA by downloading the app and depositing a minimum of £1.

Tembo doesn’t charge monthly subscription fees for the lifetime ISAs, but there is an annual platform fee for the stocks and shares lifetime ISA.

A very positive experience from start to finish!

I’ve enjoyed a very positive experience switching my Lifetime ISA to Tembo, which was a seamless transaction and allowed me to earn more from n my money be offering a greater interest rate. Reviewed on: 3rd February 2026

Tembo Cash and LISA products review- excellent

I value Tembo’s Cash ISA and LISA products- the interest rates are great. Tembo is great at keeping me up to date with market trends and government changes coming int place, as well as supporting any queries I’ve had in high standards. The Tembo community page has provided me with great opportunities to feedback this information, learn more about first time buying and connect with people in similar positions. Overall, a great and reliable app to use when saving. I haven’t looked greatly into mortgage rates, but the Tembo app has allowed me to quickly and efficiently analyse how much I’d be able to afford, the interest rates I could potentially have and provide a realistic timeline for affordability. Handy service

Great experience all round.

Great rate on the LISA. I have also had a really good experience with using the app, and find it very easy to use and helpful. I am looking to buy my first home and the mortgage information on the app has been so helpful. It shows me the best rates I can get and I find it is much better through Tembo than any others I've seen. I also love that the mortgage is fee-free for me as I have a LISA with them, which is amazing. I haven't yet spoken to any of the team, but they have reached out a couple of times to offer support on my mortgage, which I will definitely chase up on at some point. Simple, easy & reliable whilst competitive

Tembo was what allowed us to get our first home!

Tembo was what allowed us to get our first home! It was so easy to use and the customer support was so efficient in answering any questions we had that it allowed us to save our deposit and have it successfully transferred (very quickly) to complete our first home!
