You can open a Tembo cash lifetime ISA or a stocks and shares lifetime ISA by downloading the app and depositing a minimum of £1.

Tembo doesn’t charge monthly subscription fees for the lifetime ISAs, but there is an annual platform fee for the stocks and shares lifetime ISA.

Great app, clear user interface, competitive products

Opening and managing both a LISA and Cash ISA has been seamless. The transparent breakdown of balances including bonuses and interest is better than most providers. Reviewed on: 3rd February 2026

Excellent company, informative, and great connections

I generally prefer fixed rate APR rates from savings accounts to help future predictability, and Tembo can occasionally change their rates (admittedly sometimes for the better), and I'm also of the understanding that if I ever changed my LISA account to another company, I could never return to Tembo. I love Tembo

Not only is the app super user-friendly, but the services they provide are great too. I have a LISA with Tembo and I’m hoping to buy my first home this year. Tembo lays out the step-by-step process from saving to buying and constantly points you in the right direction to keep the ball rolling. Can’t wait to get my mortgage with Tembo, and to also get a small bonus when it completes! Cannot recommend it more. Reviewed on: 3rd February 2026
