You can open a Tembo cash lifetime ISA or a stocks and shares lifetime ISA by downloading the app and depositing a minimum of £1.

Tembo doesn’t charge monthly subscription fees for the lifetime ISAs, but there is an annual platform fee for the stocks and shares lifetime ISA.

A fantastic service to help buy my first house

I used Tembo’s LISA an Cash ISA service to help support me toward buying my first property. The service provided was brilliant! They offered clear information and great customer service to help answer any and all questions I had. Long term member, happy to keep with them

So I have left a neutral feedback for customer service because I have not personally had to get in touch. But for me this all springs towards a very positive review for Tembo as there have been no issues I've experienced requiring me to get in touch. The app layout at first glance when I joined was a little complicated, it required you set a savings goal for the LISA before you could really get into the app, not something I feel should be forced on its customers, but aside from that my experience with Tembo has been great, quick to process payments or withdrawals, easy visibility of the money I have saved and there is a lot of features on offer easily navigated to if you wanted to make use of them Reviewed on: 3rd February 2026
