You can open a Tembo cash lifetime ISA or a stocks and shares lifetime ISA by downloading the app and depositing a minimum of £1.

Tembo doesn’t charge monthly subscription fees for the lifetime ISAs, but there is an annual platform fee for the stocks and shares lifetime ISA.

Wouldn’t go anywhere else

Saving for my first property and hearing the British sweetheart Martin Lewis talk about different LISA’s Tembo was at the top of his list alongside another online bank’s LISA, however - looking into both I knew Tembo was for me! The interest rate has stayed consistent and even gone up in 2025, in comparison to the competitive banks interest rate poorly going down after one year. Their communication is great and their app is very easy to navigate another pointer I love as saving lots of money into one place is very daunting. I have also recommended a Tembo LISA and Cash ISA to my friends are family who are also saving for their first home! Reviewed on: 24th January 2025
