You can open a Tembo cash lifetime ISA or a stocks and shares lifetime ISA by downloading the app and depositing a minimum of £1.

Tembo doesn’t charge monthly subscription fees for the lifetime ISAs, but there is an annual platform fee for the stocks and shares lifetime ISA.

Handy service

Good smooth process in releasing funds for mortgage deposit. Really handy in saving for mortgage deposit and kept me on track. Useful to be able to see a projection of the time it will take to reach the target. Reviewed on: 3rd February 2026

Great experience all round.

Great rate on the LISA. I have also had a really good experience with using the app, and find it very easy to use and helpful. I am looking to buy my first home and the mortgage information on the app has been so helpful. It shows me the best rates I can get and I find it is much better through Tembo than any others I've seen. I also love that the mortgage is fee-free for me as I have a LISA with them, which is amazing. I haven't yet spoken to any of the team, but they have reached out a couple of times to offer support on my mortgage, which I will definitely chase up on at some point. Tembo was what allowed us to get our first home!

Tembo was what allowed us to get our first home! It was so easy to use and the customer support was so efficient in answering any questions we had that it allowed us to save our deposit and have it successfully transferred (very quickly) to complete our first home! Bonus and app

Good, government bonus is transparent and substantial. App is easy to use and aesthetically pleasing. Only slighty frustrating thing was the referral bonus took ages to process and wasn't clear when it would be coming. Tembo also offers an excellent interest rate on their cash ISA.
