You can open a Tembo cash lifetime ISA or a stocks and shares lifetime ISA by downloading the app and depositing a minimum of £1.

Tembo doesn’t charge monthly subscription fees for the lifetime ISAs, but there is an annual platform fee for the stocks and shares lifetime ISA.

Great value and easy to use app

The Tembo Mobile app is excellent.

The Tembo Mobile app is excellent. It’s a clear and well designed app and has made day to day tasks very easy and clear. Tembo made the process of transferring in an existing LISA very easy indeed and there is as no need for any kind of stress or manual intervention. The interest rates are also very competitive and I hope for the future that this remains so. The company comes across as one that has a wish to look after customers as opposed to putting all efforts int attracting new ones. I have no intention to move my money away from Tembo as a result of these points. Would I recommend Tembo? Yes I definitely would. I trust Tembo with my money. Reviewed on: 5th March 2026

Great all rounder

The app is easy to navigate, the interest rates are brilliant, and you can clearly see the goals you are saving towards. The ability to link your account to somebody else's provides further clarity on your financial situation and allows you to make more informed decisions when saving. The only thing I would change is sometimes it is difficult to navigate to see how much you money you need to deposit to fulfil the bonus requirements. Reviewed on: 5th March 2026

I’ve only had a good experience with Tembo, whenever I had questions in the past their customer service representatives were really helpful and explained everything in detail. I have also recommended Tembo to family who have already used their Lifetime ISA towards buying a property, and they said it was a really easy and quick process. Reviewed on: 5th March 2026

Straightforward to use with best interest rates

There was a bit of difficulty when setting up my LISA, with verifying my details and getting it linked with the account I wanted to pay from, however Tembo customer service were super quick, supportive and helpful. Since then I’ve had no issues with my accounts, the app is so easy to use, regular payments plus top ups are simple to manage and Tembo definitely has the best ISA interest rates on the market at the moment Reviewed on: 5th March 2026
