You can open a Tembo cash lifetime ISA or a stocks and shares lifetime ISA by downloading the app and depositing a minimum of £1.

Tembo doesn’t charge monthly subscription fees for the lifetime ISAs, but there is an annual platform fee for the stocks and shares lifetime ISA.

Best for overall house moving process

I have done everything through Tembo and fingers crossed I’ll be moving in May. I really enjoy how convenient everything is in the app as you have your LISA, mortgage broker and conveyancing quotes all in one place. I think it’s a fantastic, well rounded service, perfect for any first time buyers. The initiatives they put on such as boosted LISA rates are really imperative to the journey too, as every bit of spare money counts during this process. Reviewed on: 13th March 2026

Informative & Easy to use

Great app and good interest rates

The online app is very useful and easy to use and simple to navigate. I like how it is easy to see your different accounts and the tracker that shows you how much of your ISA allowance you have used up. I haven't taken advantage of the mortgage advice benefits yet as I'm not planning on buying a house yet, but it's good to know the service is there in a few years when the time comes. Literally amazing

I grew up looking at the old Tembo app (Nude) pre planning my future dream home. I always new it’d be Tembo for me and I haven’t been disappointed in a single way. Overall Great Experience

The interest rate is applied monthly, not daily like Moneybox does. Their broker service is very good. The app is very clearly laid out and easy to use. I transferred my LISA from Moneybox to Tembo and it wasn't clear what or how much interest was applied during the transfer. It would be good if this process was more transparent.
