Tembo doesn’t charge monthly subscription fees for the lifetime ISAs, but there is an annual platform fee for the stocks and shares lifetime ISA.

Great LISA!

Tembo is terrific

For me, trust in the product is the aspect that sets Tembo apart from others. They have cracked the most important, and hardest, aspect in all of banking; they believe in their product. In turn, I trust and believe in them. There is nowhere else I feel my money would be safer. From the useful emails I receive, to the user interface of the app, their passion is evident at every step and it is clearly designed with the customer in mind. The layouts are simple, the loading times are quick, there is always useful extra information about buying your first house, mortgages and general financial advice. It feels genuine, and that is hard to come by. Buying a house is scary, but Tembo makes it feel that much more manageable, that much less daunting. I trust in them and believe that my money is in the best place it could be. I highly recommend them to everyone for one simple reason, it's good. Reviewed on: 5th March 2026
