You can open a Tembo cash lifetime ISA or a stocks and shares lifetime ISA by downloading the app and depositing a minimum of £1.

Tembo doesn’t charge monthly subscription fees for the lifetime ISAs, but there is an annual platform fee for the stocks and shares lifetime ISA.

Joining Tembo

When I wanted to change my ISA, I came across Tembo. After speaking with one of the agents over the phone, I felt immediately at ease. They were able to answer all the questions that I had. From that moment I was convinced that I was investing into a reputable company with the best interest rates. Since becoming a member of Tembo, they have fulfilled their expectation and continues to keep me updated on relevant news on the financial rates. Tembo offers the best savings rate and a great app!

Tembo offer the best savings rate and their app is very intuitive. Their emails are also really helpful for giving advice on how you should save money and what other people’s experience is, especially with home buying. My tembo experience

My experience with Tembo has been quite positive overall. However, I wish the withdrawal process from the cash ISA was quicker—currently, it takes longer than I expected. Reviewed on: 5th March 2026

It’s in your interest to find my interest!

Initially, I moved my LISA from another provider for the competitive interest rates. The transfer went smoothly until I found that an outstanding bonus hadn’t been collected. This had a knock on effect to the monthly interest figures I should have been receiving on the account sum, for at least four months. After many emails back and forth, Tembo found the issue and apologised. They also worked out the interest I was deficient because of the bonus not being collected and added that to my LISA balance in order to bring my account back up to date. Initially I was really annoyed the bonus had been ‘left behind’ but was really impressed and reassured when everything was brought back in line. Reviewed on: 5th March 2026

Tembo is amazing for house saving!

Tembo is excellent for both my LISA and cash ISA. my partner and I are saving for a house, and the LISA is excellent, especially with the pair up scheme. The cash ISA is amazing too with its ability to take out as often as you need. I always recommend Tembo to my friends and family, especially those looking to get on the property ladder.
