Making mortgages accessible

I came across Tembo searching for a solution to a problem that felt insurmountable. As a sole trader relying on rental income too, I was struggling to find a suitable mortgage on my own. I had a quick call to find out more about what Tembo could offer and was introduced to Ben following this who saw me through the rest of the process of applying. After some back and forth getting paperwork in order, I had a really comprehensive call with Ben about the options. He then put the application through (even securing my interest rate on his day off due to a likely rise with the current unrest) making the whole process so much easier and accessible. Amy took over the case and kept me updated during the brief wait as I heard back within less than a week and I honestly couldn’t more thankful! Tembo have made it possible for me to get a place of my own and I couldn’t recommend them enough, they have more than earned their 5 stars! Reviewed on: 18th March 2026
