Paul Herbert & Jess Eley are Superstars!

Paul Herbert & Jess Eley have been absolutely incredible! Cannot shut up about the amazing service they have provided. When I first started looking into a mortgage I had no idea. Jess and Paul explained everything and ensured I felt supported throughout the entire journey. They have been down to earth, they have answered every question no matter how silly, they have gone above and beyond what I ever expected of them. I would recommend to any first time buyer who has no idea where to start as they are supportive, informative and genuinely look out for their customers. Lucy and Chelsea- brilliant advisors!

I have had a brilliant experience with Lucy and Chelsea from Tembo money in arranging a mortgage for our first home. Lucy was able to not only recommend a brilliant mortgage offer, but also helped me pick a plan to suit our needs alongside helping me understand how a mortgage works! Nothing was too small to Lucy and Chelsea, they always answered my queries straight away and have communicated any news really quickly! Following Lucy securing us an offer that suited our needs best, Chelsea then supported us with the ongoing application, updating us every few days and secured the official offer within a week! I cannot thank them enough from first time buyers with no clue where to start they have made the process so much easier! Also the fee being free for myself as an NHS worker is such a lovely gesture!! Remortgage

Our Broker Tara Ghose was excellent and led us to an acceptable rate during our first proper consultation. Following this our liaison through Elly Bradshaw was always prompt, efficient and carried out in a very professional and friendly manner. Tembo are amazing!!

From the very beginning our process with Tembo was brilliant, Jack Dolphin was excellent and finding a solution to our situation, it felt like he made the impossible possible after being let down by other mortgage brokers. He really considered our family’s situation and our future. We thank him so much for helping us to buy our first family home. Nearer the end of the process we worked with Chelsea Parkins, she was really professional, friendly and patient with us while getting all our paperwork together. Best Mortgage advisor for complex cases

Helena Shanks and Jodie Coxell were Superb with our remortgage. We had a complicated LTD company structure with multiple directors but they managed to get us a mortgage offer. I would recommend others to talk to them about any mortgage application. Reviewed on: 18th April 2025

Amazing service and communication all the way through.

We honestly can’t thank Jack (our mortgage broker) and Chelsea (our case manager) enough! After struggling to get an Agreement in Principle (AIP) with other brokers, Jack gave us practical and straightforward advice to improve our affordability. Thanks to their guidance, we finally got our AIP and things moved smoothly from there. Once we had our offer accepted, the whole process was completely stress-free. Chelsea handled everything behind the scenes and within a week, we had our mortgage offer! They made what could’ve been a really stressful time feel easy and manageable. Fantastic support for first time buyers

As first-time buyers, we went into the mortgage process feeling quite unsure and overwhelmed. There’s so much to learn and it’s easy to feel out of your depth - but Jo and Callum made all the difference. Jo was our main point of contact and she was genuinely fantastic. From the very first conversation, she took the time to explain everything in a way that was easy to understand and made sure we felt comfortable with each step. No question was ever too small, and we really appreciated how approachable and patient she was throughout. Callum also played a key role in keeping things moving smoothly and ensuring we had everything we needed in place. Together, they made what could have been a stressful experience feel clear, well-managed, and even exciting at times! Thanks to Jo and Callum, we felt fully supported and confident in the decisions we were making. Best brokers

Myself and my partner were joint applicants as first time buyers and had no idea where to begin when buying our first home. Both Paul H and Jess E from Tembo were excellent to deal with and made us both feel reassured, explained the process fully and helped us understand what was required of us, making the process of applying for a mortgage as straightforward as it can be. Even when the lender was delayed in getting back to us about our application, they were both on top of the lender, chasing updates and giving us the extra reassurance we needed. We'd both recommend Tembo, particularly Paul and Jess, to anybody looking for a mortgage going forward, and we couldn't be more happy with the service they've provided.
