great interest paying current account

great current account that you can manage online and by app, pays 3% up to £3000 and no minimum pay in or direct debit payouts so basically a savings account Reviewed on: 1st March 2017

Simple way to get 3%

Current account pays 3% on up to £3000 and you can have 2 - so 3% on up to £6000. No monthly pay in is necessary, so simply use as a savings account. Understand rate will last for 2 years. Reviewed on: 1st March 2017

Great interest frozen for 2 years, plus Tesco benefits

3% interest on up to £3000, which has been frozen for 2 years, unlike other companies which have lowered their interest rates. Requires no monthly deposit into the account either. Great benefits with clubcard points when you spend money on the card in general, and extra points when shopping at Tesco in store or online. Reviewed on: 1st March 2017

Current savings

Nice easy current account that I use for savings. Great interest rate with easy access to my money without any hassle of having to keep doing direct debits or pay in. Will never understand why they don't just do a great savings account and call it that! Reviewed on: 31st January 2017

Great Customer Service

Had to speak to customer service a few times due to fraudulent use on my account and they were really helpful and sorted out the problem straight away. Definitely recommend Reviewed on: 21st December 2016

7 DAY SECURITY CHECK?????

I opened my account with tesco they offered a generous overdraft which was useful as I was buying a car pay it back when I got paid end of month and they have seized my account with my own money and the overdraft, because I tried to use it???? 7 days later security department never there customer service can't help, blocked my card, no withdrawl of even my own money can't pay credit card, no contact from tesco bank security team won't take my calls they dont work weekends etc etc customer service is horrendous even told them to remove my overdraft I don't need it if this is what a nuisance it is but nothing 7 days and counting????? back to HSBC if I ever get my own money back from Tesco Reviewed on: 28th November 2016

Very poor customer service

I received text message from tesco bank said A/C ending ***. This is a message from Tesco Bank Fraud Department. It's important we speak with you regarding your account. Please call us on 0345 366 1281. NO ONE ANSWER YOU CALL NO RESPONSE 45:00 MIN WAIT ON THE LINE NOBODY'S ANSWERS MY CALL . Reviewed on: 6th November 2016
