Excessive wait to speak to adviser

Had to call to reset password. Long wait on phone. Told "There are no people ahead of you" throughout. Gave me plenty of time to fill in this feedback form (and catch up on emails) Reviewed on: 7th August 2025

We do offer a call-back service which is especially useful for times when we are busy so that customers don’t have to wait on the line. This facility retains your place in the queue which means that your call-back request is automatically sent to an agent who will make a call out to you, and you don’t have to wait on the phone for your call to be answered. I have given my best attention to this company.

I have given my best attention to this company. A GP did certify the children’s application and copies of their passports, but “Family” Building Society did not accept it, as she was a family friend rather than the children’s GP. I followed up with a photograph of her on her GP practice. But this still was not acceptable. I have not direct access to this doctor, but of course “Family” Building Society have caused family problems for me. Reviewed on: 1st August 2025

WIndfall Bonds poor prize return

I have held 8 Windfall Bonds for many years, and apart from 1 bond winning a small prize in 2016 or 2017 ( i cant recall exactly) - i have had no winnings at all - even though plenty of other holders seem to have won multiple times. There is no transparency around the monthly draw, less so now that winners names are not being published on your website. I also think it is fishy that the only 1 of my bonds that ever won any prize has a big X in the account number, but none of the others do. Can you provide transparency around how the draw is operated and audited? Reviewed on: 1st August 2025
