Reliable and user friendly service. The online banking experience is always positive. Whenever we had any queries, we could speak to a friendly and efficient agent. Triodos for personal banking

I moved my personal banking to Triodos from First Direct and Nat West in 2021 for ethical reasons. No regrets so far, but as I'd used Triodos for business banking since 2002, I was pretty confident that things would work out. As a bank, they are largely free of gimmicks, and offer a no nonsense basic service which doesn't surprise, but just works. They do charge for current accounts, but when banks don't charge, you have to wonder how they finance that. The web interface is good, though I prefer the old version. All in all, a trouble free bank, without the unethical baggage of supporting fossil fuel companies, and with a pro-environmental and prosocial agenda of supporting renewable energy and low carbon projects.
