Triodos Bank puts the customer and our environment first. Communications are clear and timely. Service is excellent and fees are fair. And importantly, they put environmental and social responsibility/progress at the heart of their proposition. This bank stands out in an otherwise underwhelming market! Values based saving with good customer communication.

Clear and ethical values, well communicated to customers, including case studies of the businesses they invest in through a regular customer newsletter. Managing an account online is fairly simple, and there is human contact available in the case of queries. Reviewed on: 31st January 2026

I use both the ISA and current account as a safe place to keep money I don't immediately need or as a reception place where I know it will be well and ethically used. Management fees

The management fees are substantially lower than somewhere like Quilter and yet about 25% of my investment fund with them is held in Triodos. This feels like jobs for the boys!! Reviewed on: 30th January 2026

Ethical banking

It is so good to feel confident that money is put to good use rather than supporting a range of unethical causes (like gas and oil investment, arms development, poor trade practice) as I think is likely in most major high street banks. Reviewed on: 30th January 2026
