Great ethical bank

I moved my ISA from Barclays to Triodos because I wanted my savings to be invested ethically. Triodos ISA offers good rates, the internet banking makes it easy to move money and monitor my savings and it is always possible to speak to someone on the phone if I need. It's worthwhile to save with a truly ethical bank.

Very straight forward

On-line transactions are straight forward and well-explained for someone like me who, if they can misunderstand an instruction, they will. The absolute game-changer is Triodos's openness about the people and organisations it lends to. Reviewed on: 22nd April 2025

Clear communication. Ethical banking

Everything is very easy and secure. They communicate key information in a timely fashion, but not too often, and always in plain language that is easy to understand. It is great to bank with a provider with a transparent commitment to ethical banking, so I stay with Triodos even though the variable rates are not always the highest available. I have banked with Triodos for 16 years.

I have banked with Triodos for 16 years originally as my business account but I no longer run that company. I now hold my main isa with them as I care that my money is being used for good works. They have uk call centres and are always able to deal with you call, you feel like a family member not a customer when there agents go out of the way to handle your call and don’t bounce you round between departments!
