Recent changes with internet banking have made investing in Triodos' Ethical funds quick and aesy and importantly making withdrawals equally so. It is now easy to see the progress of any transaction. Not Greenwashing. They Mean It.

I have never before been convinced of a bank's ethical credentials. Previously I have regarded banks as rather like shops which have a minority of items labelled 'fair trade' leaving you to wonder whether all the rest is 'unfair trade' - so, in most banks some investment funds are 'ethical' leaving customers to assume the others are unethical. However, Triodos is different. Its main purpose seems to be to use money to support ethical projects and it tries hard to keep you informed as to what your money is being used to support. In so doing it gives customers a real feeling of contributing to work which brings hope in a world where so much seems to be going wrong. Reviewed on: 24th March 2023
