You can open a Triodos Bank Online Saver account with just £1 and there’s no maximum balance limit. The account can be in a sole name or joint names. The account can be managed via internet banking and in the Triodos mobile banking app.

Top Bank for Ethical Savings

I have used my account for a few years now as an easy access savings account. The interest rates are are good for an easy access product. I'm impressed by the ethical credentials of Triodos and where my money is being used vs the main high street banks and the app is very informative about the impact of the money and different projects they fund. There is a high level of transparency and plenty of updates for rate changes, etc without an excessive volume of emails. Would fully recommend. Reviewed on: 4th March 2025

Concise and Response Staff

The staff demonstrated concise understanding of their products, providing clear explanations and tailored recommendations based. They were patient, addressing questions thoroughly, and ensured that I left with a clear understanding of my options. The response time was excellent, even via digital online channels. The bank’s products were well-structured. Whether it was a savings account, loan, or investment opportunity, the terms were transparent, and the benefits were clearly outlined. Additionally, the digital banking services were user-friendly and efficient, making transactions and account management seamless. Overall, my experience was excellent and above average. The combination of very responsive customer service and carefully thought through financial products has made them a reliable choice for anyone requiring reliable banking solutions.
