The Triodos Online Saver account can only be opened in the Triodos banking app.

You can open a Triodos Bank Online Saver account with just £1 and there’s no maximum balance limit. The account can be in a sole name or joint names. The account can be managed via internet banking and in the Triodos mobile banking app.

The real people

It has always been very easy to contact the bank over any queries and often there are real people there to assist with difficulties. I believe that currently it is the most ethical bank for customers.The app is easy to use, very visual and helpful. Reviewed on: 22nd April 2026

Triodos is a very good, ethical bank.

Triodos is very good, ethical bank. There is a wealth of information on their website including a positive, welcoming introductory statement. There is also information on how their products also help to contribute to sustainability, the environment, social and governance issues. I am also very interested in the bank's ethics and values, and support to the community, charities, entrepreneurs, businesses, companies and the environment. This bank also publishes their Annual Report online so it gives readers a very clear picture of the organisation. I also used to read the Colour of Money and found that very interesting. I have an online bonus saver account and it relatively easy to operate. However, I found the Notice Saver accounts were a very good feature in helping invest in long term savings.
