Great ethical bank.

Interest rate across all Savings Accounts too low

The only criticism I have across all accounts that I have with Triodos is that the interest rates in the Savings accounts (i.e. the Online Saver Plus and Online Saver) could be more beneficial. This is currently at 1.80% for the Online Saver and 2.20% for the Online Saver Plus. Other banks are able to offer higher interest rates of 4.5% and higher. This unfortunately means Triodos is not my only bank, as the savings I keep with Triodos are only losing value with the inflation rate (as this is higher than the interest rate earned in each of those savings accounts). I would therefore love to see Triodos offer savings accounts with higher interest rate earnings. Reviewed on: 20th April 2026

Useful and mindful!

The online app is always very convenient to use, and the emails are informative and not too frequent. I feel confident that my money is handled safely and with care, and it’s good to know that ethical banking is a possibility. Reviewed on: 20th April 2026
