Waggel offers great customer service which was shown in its full colours when I made a claim for my Puppy. Waggel made every effort to obtain the invoice for our out of hours vets which did not open during Waggels office hours. I fully recommend Waggel to all our friends with dogs as the insurance company to go with. Reviewed on: 15th September 2020

Changed my opinion of insurers

We have a complaint currently with the ombudsman on another pet insurance (hint: they are definitely not friends) after our previous dog died. Our new pup needed insurance and in his 6th month got a grass seed in his ear they required a procedure under anaesthetic. Submitted the claim using their excellent online portal and the claim was paid out in a matter of days. No quibble, all handled direct with the vet. Their website/ app is superb and the member rewards are a nice touch. They feel like a family business that loves animals and just wants to make things easy for their customers. A breath of fresh air compared to other insurance companies. Reviewed on: 15th September 2020

Shopped around loads of insurers, some expensive, some cheap but with poor cover, others with confusing online pages or unintelligible and confusing wording. Waggel was Easy, affordable and comprehensive, simple to understand and quick to complete. Fantastic. Reviewed on: 15th September 2020

Have a new dachshund puppy and after looking at loads of insurance quotes and recommendations for other owners, checked waggle, the quote was very competitive and being able to see simple adjustments change straight away made life a lot easier. A like for like quote was even £13 cheaper. Nice to see options for offers. Reviewed on: 15th September 2020

They refused to reimburse me arguing my cat had a pre-existing condition (which was definitely unrelated, but they don’t care), so I’ve been paying them for nothing for a year. Quite infuriating to be honest but no insurance in this country is willing to insure my once-previously-ill-in-another-country cat at reasonable conditions, so I’m keeping this one that is not too expensive in case something different happens to him. My only option left is literally to pray for him to stay healthy because I couldn’t afford it. So the least I could say is I am not happy, no. Reviewed on: 15th September 2020
