My data has been stolen

I had a complaint with Wonga which they disputed all the way until the FOS ombudsman made a legally binding decision they couldn't get out of. Now that has been sorted I have been notified that my data has been stolen from them which puts me financially at risk - Well done Wonga you really are awful Reviewed on: 10th April 2017

Terrible!

You end up getting a loan and paying it back but because it's too much you end up in a cycle of getting a loan paying it back then repeat or you end up screwed because the interest rate it shocking especially for people in lower income jobs who by the way actually do need to help out. Not impressed.

When having trouble obtaining credit, I decided to get the odd wonga payday loan and repay early to help improve my credit rating which had been trashed by my now ex-husband. This was working extremely well until my expired debit card was replaced with a new one. Wonga' system just wouldn't accept the new one so I stopped using them. The staff seemed unwilling or unable to help when I phoned. Reviewed on: 7th June 2017

Not suitable

Wonga used to be the go to payday loan site but over the last few years it's changed and the interest rates are unbelievable! Would not use Wonga if I was to struggle with money as I believe it could get people into some major debt if they can't afford there silly repayments! Reviewed on: 17th May 2017

Great start up but is it secure?

Wonga were my most used payday loan lender, the ads were all over the take and they worked very well with a competitive payback scheme. It shocked me when I received an email telling my personal information had been accessed by an unknown source through Wonga. It scared the life out of as Wonga didn't know what had been hacked. It could've been my bank details or my name or address or all of my information! Very little was said after this, very little in the way of an apology and I'm still unsure if my account is safe. Not happy

I used this service couple times . now i dont use it anymore and asked numerous times for my details to be removed from the system to be told its not possible! Now i am being told my details have been leaked way to go wonga Reviewed on: 12th April 2017
