Zempler Bank offer two personal current accounts – the Freedom account and the Activeplus account.

The Freedom account has no monthly fees and the Activeplus account is £5.95 per month. There may be fees for sending money and withdrawing or paying in cash. Both accounts come with the option to add on an overdraft.

I don't have a debit account with a bank just saving...

I don't have a debit account with a bank just saving account. I got this card a few years ago, as a prepaid debit card. Easy to set up and use. I can load it easy with money at my local Post Office. I have had no issues so far. Use it online and now as well some small purchases at shops. Reviewed on: 27th February 2025

I just use you for a touch card - contactless payments.

I just use you for a touch card - contactless payments. Usually with small amounts. I don't entirely believe that a contactless card is safe and the fact that I pre-load my zemplar card with limited amounts of money and it isn't linked to a bank account makes me feel safer Reviewed on: 27th February 2025

Excellent bank and app

They gave me a bank account when most others wouldn't. They don't have that silly video verification like Monzo etc. It's perfect for my needs. Reviewed on: 27th February 2025
