The Freedom account has no monthly fees and the Activeplus account is £5.95 per month. There may be fees for sending money and withdrawing or paying in cash. Both accounts come with the option to add on an overdraft.

Statements are always on time. It's easy to get in touch with customer service over the phone and they're always helpful. You can get through quite quickly. The prices are not too bad where as with other banks they can be more costly. i find the app easy to use. I've never had any trouble with it. Reviewed on: 17th February 2026

So easy to use the app and online - everything you need really is right at your fingertips. Looking for a online banking look at zempler bank.

If you have trouble with getting a bank account then look at zempler bank it's as good as a high Street bank it gives you direct debit, standing orders and a over draft you can save, pay bills, all available online. Reviewed on: 17th February 2026
