The Freedom account has no monthly fees and the Activeplus account is £5.95 per month. There may be fees for sending money and withdrawing or paying in cash. Both accounts come with the option to add on an overdraft.

I've been banking with Zempler Bank for several years.

I've been banking with Zempler Bank for several years. So far I've had a good experience, I can easily handle my day to day finances with this bank. Online banking is very easy to use as well and they always give you a notice in advance if online banking will be temporarily unavailable on a date and time. In that time I've spoken to customer services and managed to sort out any issues I've had during that time. Customer services were based in UK and very fast and efficient when dealing with queries.
