No care when they have the money

Brilliant Upto the moment of signing finance agreement then trader then was rude and changed the deal so I said I did not want the car (within 12h of signing the paperwork ) now it has been 3 weeks and have called zuto everyday and they will say anything to get me off the phone and say will call me back but never do and say payments will defo be back tomorrow but never is or just say the trader won’t answer the phone. But they normally transfer me to to there team for recovering the funds but then the phone hangs up where I have been on hold so long.so now I’m 3 weeks in with no car and I’m paying the £382 a month . Worst purchase experience

hey were helpful in getting the finance sorted quickly, however I ended up buying a car from one of their trusted dealerships and the car is worth as much as a wheelbarrow. On the day of collection it broke down, I was left stranded on the M4 after recovery and had to make my own way back home. The car was returned being told it was fixed, it was not. 2 days later the car wont start and it is not the battery. The car is leaking fluids everywhere. I have contacted the finance company, Zuto and the dealer to take back the car and refund all my expenses as I no longer want the car within my 7 days and no one is getting back to me. Now I am financing, paying insurance and road taxing a car I cant drive. What a terrible experince. Avoid! Once they hav eyour money they do not help you further. Reviewed on: 9th July 2025

Absolutely Appalling Aftercare and Service

After arranging finance and purchasing a van and warranty through Zuto, the dealership sold the van without notice. I chose to cancel/postpone the purchase and asked Zuto to begin the unwind process. I was told it would take 3–5 days and that I’d be refunded for the warranty. Instead, I spent the next two months chasing them—calling repeatedly—only to be told the dealership hadn't returned the funds. Once that was resolved, I still wasn’t refunded for the warranty. More calls followed, only to be told it hadn’t been cancelled at all. To make matters worse, I then received an email claiming they couldn’t cancel the warranty because it had been over 14 days—even though I cancelled within 8. Only after berating customer service on a final call did someone finally take action and resolve it. This company has zero aftercare, held on to money owed to me for over two months, and their delay in cancelling the finance negatively impacted my credit score. Avoid at all costs—once they’ve made the sale, you’re on your own. Reviewed on: 1st June 2025
