Zuto Finance has proven to be a nightmare from start to finish. My experience with them has been nothing short of a prolonged ordeal filled with frustration, financial strain, and ultimately disappointment. My grievances with Zuto Finance began in July 2023, when I encountered issues with a vehicle financed through them. Despite reaching out to address these issues promptly, what ensued was a seemingly endless cycle of delays, excuses, and blatant disregard for customer satisfaction. One of the most infuriating aspects of dealing with Zuto Finance was their deliberate prolongation of my complaint until I had no legal recourse left to return the vehicle. It's clear that their strategy was to exhaust me into submission rather than genuinely addressing my concerns. This tactic is not only unethical but demonstrates a complete lack of integrity on their part. To add insult to injury, during the months when my complaint was being "investigated," I was advised by Zuto Finance not to use the vehicle. This impractical suggestion not only rendered the vehicle useless but also resulted in me incurring exorbitant expenses for alternative transportation arrangements. The fact that they failed to offer any form of compensation for this inconvenience is utterly appalling. Furthermore, when I reached out to express my inability to sustain these financial burdens any longer, Zuto Finance conveniently waited until the mileage on the vehicle was at a critical point before taking any action. This calculated move demonstrates a complete disregard for the well-being of their customers and further solidifies their prioritization of profit over customer satisfaction. In conclusion, my experience with Zuto Finance has been nothing short of a nightmare. Their incompetence, lack of accountability, and disregard for customer welfare have left me deeply disillusioned. I strongly advise anyone considering financing a vehicle through Zuto Finance to proceed with extreme caution or, better yet, explore alternative options altogether. Reviewed on: 7th February 2024

Sadly lacking in customer service

Well Zuto were extremely helpful at first and staff member was superb throughout purchase of my car so credit where it is due. I have since had issues with the car and the aftercare/customer care responses and general customer service has been of a sub standard level, which is disappointing to say the least. Would not recommend Zuto with regards to issues with the full package in regards to customer service. Still awaiting to hear back days after calling etc it just gets a little farcical. I had to go over 350miles to pick up my car only to find out it was not communicated with the car company so had to wait and the car company speed up the prep for the car which meant they did not service the car. I complained to my main contact from Zuto and he said it was reported to the complaints department and they will call me. It has been over two weeks and no one has called me! Also the sales guy sold me misinformation on the car warranty and told me I was on a package which turns out I was not when I paid and received the information after payment. Advised which dealership to use but I'm sitting here with a car broken down within a couple of weeks and supposedly fixed fast forward five months I have a car sitting on my drive sorn off the road needing a new engine and a small claim win against the dealership also a ombudsman investigation and I've had no transport for three months . Zuto Very bad company

Zuto opened the Bumper account on 31.08.2023, and I have cancelled the deal with the dealer and with the  Bumper service on 04.09.2023 by phone, normally, I have 14 days to cancel. The Zuto has cancelled the deal with finance services, and I got the text messages for cancellation on 14.09.2023, but he hasn't cancelled Bumper. I tried to contact them so many times but still nothing happened. I will  complain Zuto because this is not legal. The Bumper account is open for the car plate. Nr:........I've never owned this car!!!  The account was opened for a period of 1 year with a monthly contribution of £39.99, in the amount of £3000. The service allows us to use this credit up to £3,000 in case of a car breakdown or car repair. And reimbursement in instalments. Since I do not own this car and have never owned it, they can not charge me money unless I never use their service because I never get this car. It's logical Reviewed on: 2nd November 2023

Nightmare experience

Purchase my car through Zuto. Most helpful. Asked if I wanted a warranty agreed. The next day i read the reviews of the warranty company and cancelled. Then I have £96.90 taken from my bank by a company I had not heard of. It would appear that Zuto sell the warranty and claim the money from Bumper. Zuto will not cancel the warranty and bumper keep trying to take money. The car I purchased had 2 dents in the body work a missing head rest and the airbag light on the dash. I was going the cancel the car but decided to get the car sorted as it was a 1 owner car. 2 months later I get a fine for not paying the dart charge on the day it was delivered. Avoid at all costs

I have used a Zuto previously several years ago and had a positive experience. However I purchased a car through zuto on 28/07, unfortunately I chose to reject the car and notified Zuto and the dealer immediately after delivery of the car. I was assured by Zuto the process would be quick and resolved quickly. It’s now been over THREE weeks since I notified Zuto I wanted to cancel the finance agreement and over TWO weeks since the car was returned to the dealer. Over the last couple of weeks I have had to call Zuto repeatedly to find out when they are going to contact the finance company to cancel the agreement; each time they either leave me on hold, cut me off or I end up speaking to a different person every time who can’t help to resolve the issue. Zuto received the funds back in full but still have not returned said funds to the dealer despite it being over two weeks since the car was returned. I am left paying for a car I do not have because of Zuto lack of customer service and basic consideration. Zuto are quick enough to answer the phone if you are calling to accept a car however if you need their assistance afterwards, they don’t want to know! Their customer service is appalling. Waste of time

Picked car up on Saturday by Monday eml light on tried to send car back told I have to give car dealer chance to repair even though they had car back twice eml light still on and told will be another week for part absolutely disgusting customer service would never recommend to anybody Reviewed on: 28th July 2023
