Email states enter 10 digit account number. Email states enter 10 digit account number. Only provided with a 8 digit number. Not a good start. So can not log on. Reviewed on: 4th June 2026

When I phone the Chorley the staff are always pleasant, efficient and helpful (and seem to care) - such a nice change from most organisations. I am also pleased to have the opportunity to use a mutual society. When an account matures, would be much more convenient to have the funds transferred to a nominated bank account, instead of receiving a cheque. Reviewed on: 16th June 2019

Very convenient for me (don't really follow interest rates). Seems old school to use a building society so not sure family would use it. Recently had a problem trying to get a transfer set up from my bank to deposit some rental property income into my Chorley account but was told "building societies are difficult" by my bank.
