Great customer service

Staff are always very friendly and helpful when I ring them, whether to make a claim or just for a renewal. I change my car every six months and they always ensure the process of changing my insurance is as smooth as possible. Reviewed on: 28th July 2019

Cheap but beware

Full of little catches and admin fees, hopefully will never have to make a claim with them. If you go direct for a quote they then do not appear on comparison sites regardless whether they were cheaper or not. Reviewed on: 23rd July 2019

Wrong car details

After purchasing another car and changing the details on the policy we had documents sent to us with the wrong registration number and the details of a car which didn't match the reg number. We informed them about this error and they tried to correct it, but they then reverted back to the old car details and the new reg. They were not able to update correctly when we changed the vehicle in the policy. We had to cancel the policy with them and as it was a multi car policy it meant that we also had to find new insurance at short notice for the other vehicles on the policy. We were not happy with the customer service that we received from them and have not used them since. Reviewed on: 23rd July 2019

A decent premium with Good fully comp cover. However, admiral law are not brilliant at dealikg with car claims. They had lost my data a few times. My claim took over 3 years tool finalise. Reviewed on: 21st July 2019

Beware the Admiral Insurance roadside assistance package

ON breaking down (luckily close to a town centre) I had the unfortunate experience of being signed up with Admiral breakdown as part of my insurance package. This is operated by a third party company on behalf of Admiral. I made my call at 12:30pm.... and via a series of completely baffling calls and texts I was not collected until gone 9pm. My brakes had basically clamped into an on position, meaning a roadside fix was not possible. This did not stop the operators from sending out two roadside assistance vehicles over the course of five hours who both told me that for safety reasons, they could not fix breaks by the roadside, and I would need a pick-up to tow me home. Fair enough. Both of these drivers were baffled by the fact I had sat in my car waiting for 5 hours. They told me that the company that operates the call centre is completely unprofessional and frequently makes mistakes. I spoke to the same operator again and again, and eventually a completely different person managed to sort the issue and apologised profusely on behalf of their colleagues ineptness. Eventually I made it home shortly before midnight. Not a great experience. Reviewed on: 16th July 2019

cancelling due to sales of car
