Absolutely no customer service

You pay a premium for your insurance but they treat you like dirt. Doesn’t take responsibility of their mistake and make you out of pocket. Better go elsewhere for your insurance Reviewed on: 26th March 2019

They are good, they provide useful information, they don't spam you with unuseful emails and marketing campaigns. That's good enough for me. Did I said that they are the cheapest in the market? Win Win. Reviewed on: 3rd March 2019

Great customer service

Whenever I have needed to call Admiral, they have always tried to find the most cost effective deal they can. They’ve also offered other services and spent the time trying to beat my current deal, as part Of customer loyalty. I can’t fault them! Reviewed on: 1st March 2019

DO NOT INSURE WITH ADMIRAL

1
I will never insure with Admiral again. I was involved in an accident yesterday and was made to wait 2 hours before my car was collected by a rescue service and then advised I would have to make my own way home. How is this acceptable when you've just been in an accident and your mental and emotional state is at it's lowest??? My car was taken in at 10am 26th February, I had to return home and make work aware that I would not be able to make it into the office because I had no vehicle. I called Admiral around 12/1pm, having heard nothing further since 10am, when I was likely to get my courtesy car so I could update the office when I would be back in. I was told that this would depend on when the Garage was able to look at the car and send in their findings regarding whether the damage was repairable or not. When I asked how long they estimated this to take I was told could be today, could be tomorrow "we don't know". At this point I had to tell work that I would not be in the following day either - each day I'm not in the office meanwhile I'm not getting paid. Certainly not very helpful I called the garage (RS Motors) my car was at on the 27th February early morning and was informed that the car was still being looked at and that even if they provided an estimate to Admiral that afternoon, Admiral would still have to sign off on the courtesy car, I was looking at Friday 1st March to get a courtesy car if approved! At this point I was really starting to get annoyed, what am I paying so much money for if when I need my insurance to work for me it doesn't?! I then called Admiral in the hopes they could speed up the process because potentially I was looking at 4 days off work - hence not making any money that week and I couldn't afford to do that. I was met with little sympathy and when asked of the Claims Assistant and Complaint department "what benefit is my Admiral insurance providing me with right now?" I was met with silence. Says it all really. I have now (still 27th February) called RS Motors for an update on my car and they've told me they have only just received the vehicle and if they can they will look at it today?! Not sure what kind of an operation Admiral are running but it sure will kick and punch you whilst you're down. Who is going to cover my loss of earnings for this week whilst the people at the top take my money needlessly. Forget feeding myself and my family I need to feed Admiral first. Save your money and take it elsewhere. Reviewed on: 27th February 2019

DISGUSTING

1
If i could give a zero i would. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING... spoke to someone saying my car was broken down and at the garage so they couldnt work on my littlebox as i didnt have the car. They have now increased my insurance...an excess of just over £200... i dont know where they expect me to get this money from as i bought a car from a dealer that was faulty...been at garage for 4mnths and i told them this. Now they are saying because i spoke to the engineers i should have spoken to them too. But they are YOUR engineers!!! You asked them to call me. Soo upsetting as i have spent ao much already and paid insurance for 4mnths whilst car was at garage. What you are doing and have done is so wrong on so many levels Admiral..so wrong. Failed to pay market value after total loss

1
My car was run into by a third party; the damage was such that Admiral declared it a write-off. Despite policy wording around paying out “market value” and “this is so you can replace the car with one of similar age, condition, mileage and specification”, they failed to do this, and short-changed me by around £700. Have cancelled all remaining policies, referred my case to the Ombudsman, and will never again use Admiral. Reviewed on: 16th February 2019

No help from Admiral has cost me thousands!

1
blatant fraudulent claim against my vehicle and Admiral did nothing at all to defend me - research and use a different Insurance provider or risk the same thing happening to you... Reviewed on: 9th February 2019
