Great value!

I've been with admiral for a few years now and always try to get the best deal. So far Admiral has given me unbeatable renewal quotes. I'm certainly not a loyal customer and I do try the usual compare sites to get the lowest prices, but nothing yet has drawn me away. Reviewed on: 13th September 2018

Emergency Cover a Joke

Emergency cover a joke. Have platinum home insurance which includes emergency(and boiler) cover. Boiler in loft started to leak - coming through kitchen ceiling and light fittings. Contacted Admiral to get it fixed. Firstly depite asking lenghy questions they managed to get my address wrong which resulted in delay with the company dealing contacting me. When we finally got my address correct, we started again. I am meanwhile watching water drip through the ceiling ( it had filled the space between the loft flooring and the kitchen ceiling plaster board, so it continued even after I got a cotainer under the boiler. I was then told I would be contacted in approximately 7 hours to inform me when an engineer coulds attend. Meanwhile heating and hot water off of course. If this is EMERGENCY cover I am glad I didn't have a less important problem . I doubt if I would use Admiral again for house cover. Will probably try to claim from them now for new ceiling plaster boards and decorating. This would probably have not been necessary if there had been a speedier emergency response . Helpful & Low Cost

Usually when you go for the lowest cost option you fall into the 'get what you pay for' category...not with Admiral. They were cheaper than the next rival by more than £150 and the service we have received has been so helpful and friendly! Will answer any question you have in a really timely fashion. Very fast and easy

Cheap but not cheerful.

Cheap policy but useless customer service and vehicle repairs. They never update you or call you back when promised, if at all. Customer service is not even close to acceptable. The only way to get a problem resolved is to make a complaint iv found, otherwise nothing gets done about it. After a very minor accident, i have now been without my vehicle for 3 months. It was repaired too a very poor standard some work wasnt even completed. After i complained it was inspected by one of admirals "independant" engineers.It then went back to the garage to have the work corrected and carried out. It came back to me again with some work not done, some uncorrected and some still too a poor standard . My vehicle is now with a different Admiral approved garage. A so called independant engineer has been to view the unfinished and uncorrected work 3 or 4 times now. 2 complaints to admiral later and one being prepared for the Ombudsman, I am still without my van after 3 months. I now despair and will never use admiral again. Reviewed on: 13th September 2018
