Good value for basic cover Generally easy although the customer service can occasionally be a little slow. Didn't quibble over a claim and paid out quickly. Reviewed on: 5th March 2026

Great Insurers

Agria offer very competitive rates along with high levels of cover. I added on my 2nd dog and received a discount for insuring them both. Affordable, understanding and connected

My experience with Agria Pet Insurance has been incredible so far. One of the veterinary nurses at the practice I work at recommended them to me. It was easy to sign up and find information. Any queries I had were answered quickly and I could tell they knew what they were talking about. They really put your pets first and make sure the insurance is a good fit to them too. Disappointing experience

I feel like I’ve had a mixed experience with agria. I was recommended them as being a good insurance company for rabbits. Upon putting a claim through for GI statis I was advised this wasn’t covered as it was an ongoing intestinal issue. This was far from the case and was very disappointing that as a competent insurance provider for rabbits that this wasn’t known. I was never informed about my claim being turned down until I contacted agria direct over the phone. They advised an email had been sent but this was never received. I appealed my claim through my vet and eventually the claim was paid out. But overall it was a very disappointing and stressful experience with poor understanding and communication. Affordable prices and efficient payouts

I recently has to go to the emergency vets and vets with my rabbits and I claimed for the insurance which was quick and Agria kept me well informed of the progress along the way. I also think the prices of the insurance are very affordable and over all very happy! Reviewed on: 21st July 2022

Best pet cover

After researching pet insurance as someone who worked at a vets for ten years. I knew I needed the highest amount of cover due to rising vet bills. excellent customer service and insurance product that Provides assurance for my pets. Once I had to make a claim that was dealt with quickly and efficiently.
