Some normality after receiving a cancer diagnosis!

After receiving a cancer diagnosis in February 2025 my world turned upside down. My current provider would not insure me to travel outside the UK and I felt like I was being punished for having cancer. I was recommended AllClear by a neighbour and my initial contact with an advisor proved to be a positive experience. I was able to get travel insurance and my husband and I managed to get away to Italy on 3 separate occasions between my chemotherapy sessions. This proved to have such a positive impact on my mental health at that time and helped carry me through the treatment process. I have now had successful surgery and require preventive care moving forwards. I contacted the customer care team to update AllClear and I am to receive a partial refund as my cancer has been treated and hasn't spread! I have been treated with dignity and respect by the team throughout. Being able to have this insurance policy in place has allowed me some normality during this cancer journey. From start to finish smooth and easy

I faced many hurdles and difficulties as I had an undiagnosed problem with a muscle in my thigh. I had already spoken to some other providers and the customer service was poor to be honest. At one point I ending up arguing with an agent over a medical point. From the moment I contacted yourselves I knew just by the tone of the agents voice this would be different and it was. Very Good Travel Insurance

This is my 2nd year with AllClear and the renewal was easy with a very helpful member of staff who was UK based and spoke very clear English. The cost was competitive, the best I could find on the market. Fortunately I have not yet had to make a claim from them so I cannot comment on this! Reviewed on: 10th October 2025
