Great service and very easy process for us

After receiving our renewal quote we decided to shop around online and soon discovered that we could insure directly with Allianz, the process from that point on was very smooth and easy. We insured online with Allianz on their website and now access to all our documents through the online account where we also have options to change our cover and personal details, we can also add additional insurance cover for our home etc when the time comes. Sooo much better than any previous insurers

I've been with the same company for 5 years then despite my no claims being 9 years it just kept going up by hundreds Allianz gave me the best deal and it was all online everything is easy to use. Steer Clear!

We have car insurance through Allianz, we went to our online account to change our car (as we have purchased a new one). Straightforward process until we got to the ‘choose a date’ option for the change to take effect, as the system froze and didn’t move on to the next level. This happened continuously. I did online chat, was informed to just change the registration number online, I refused as I would be putting a registration on a car, that it didn’t belong to! A ticket was raised and informed it would be investigated and I would be contacted via email, 24 hours later and I am no further forward. You are unable to speak with anyone over the telephone as this is an online insurance only, even when their system fails, there is no one you can speak to, as I was told today when I called the claims line. I now have insurance for a car I no longer own, and am unable to transfer to my new vehicle that I also cannot collect!!!!! The prices are competitive but honestly not worth the hassle when changes need made and there is no way for you to do this. Awful experience. Reviewed on: 10th October 2024
