Poor value compared to other savings providers We have a number of savings accounts. Atom bank has been the worst by far in terms of offering one rate and then dropping the rate. Do not recommend Reviewed on: 9th March 2026

Being of a certain age were the thought of downloading an app to do banking sends a shiver down your spine it came as a great surprise that, after a fiddlely bit of taking a selfie and uploading it, the rest was comparably easy and straightforward.
