Poor value compared to other savings providers We have a number of savings accounts. Atom bank has been the worst by far in terms of offering one rate and then dropping the rate. Do not recommend Reviewed on: 9th March 2026

Easy to set up online banking

Access using the app

I had problems accessing my app. It took a long time (1 month and 1 week) for the team to resolve the issue but we got there. Ultimately I had to start the registration process all over again. In the process of doing this, my funds were secure and the customer services team were helpful throughout, although I had to call up several times to discuss the issue with different members of the team. It seems like the back office could not figure out the technical problem and so it took a little longer than expected to fix the problem but we got there in the end. It would have been much easier if there was an option to access the accounts on the internet, like many other banks offer. This was suggested to the customer services team. Been with this bank for a number of years and always found the App easy to use and the rates competitive. Choice of accounts suits my needs, they work at improving App to give a better service such as the ability to transfer funds from a maturing account to a new one without returning to main external linked account first.
