Poor value compared to other savings providers We have a number of savings accounts. Atom bank has been the worst by far in terms of offering one rate and then dropping the rate. Do not recommend Reviewed on: 9th March 2026

Rate dropped steeply after opening

Took out my Atom account last July no sooner that I did the rate plummeted to way below the BoE reduction, luckily they offered an alternative at a marginally better rate but I had to lock it for a tear Reviewed on: 11th February 2026

I've been with Atom bank for 2 years. It was easy to set up on the app, and easy to navigate around the site. I have changed my account within the site a couple of times to suit my needs. I would highly recommend Atom bank, and have done so. Reviewed on: 11th February 2026

Excellent Company for Savings

Have opened several Fixed rate bonds and an Instant Access savings account. App is easy to set up and use. Good communication from the company and competitive rates. Easy to transfer funds to and from your online account, unlike other companies. Reviewed on: 11th February 2026
